Cristiano Ronaldo's Heroics Were So Heroic Zinedine Zidane Ripped His Pants

Everyone thought Tuesday's Champions League match between Wolfsburg and Real Madrid was exciting: fans, journalists, players, etc. One man, though, stood above the rest in freaking out about the sheer excitement of Madrid's 3-0 victory that erased a 2-0 aggregate deficit and earned them a place in the semifinals: Zinedine Zidane.

Yes, that Zidane. The same Zidane that won everything there is to win in soccer. The same Zidane who could do things with a soccer ball we hadn't seen before and haven't seen since.

Watch These Bulgarian Players Fight In A Puddle

It isn't every day the phrase "Bulgarian puddle fight" appears on my google search history, but here we are.

Welcome to the Bulgarian fourth tier, where a ball landed in a puddle, causing all the players and the referee to completely lose their sh**.

Chicharito and Marco Fabian Face Off In A "Mexican Skype Duel"

Childhood friends Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Marco Fabian had a so-called Mexican Skype Duel, courtesy of the Bundesliga's official YouTube account. Hernandez and Fabian grew up in the Chivas Guadalajara youth system together, and have been reunited this season in the Bundesliga, at Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.

The Oceania Champions League Just Produced The Game Of Our Dreams

Soccer is not just about goals. Goals are the object, sure, and the prize and the, um, goal, but goals alone do not make the game. This Oceania Champions League match between Kiwi FC (Samoa) and Nadi FA (Fiji) had goals, seven of them in fact, but it had way more than that.

Who doesn't love a good sending off? Few would argue a red card situation is not entertaining. This Oceania Champions League match between Kiwi FC and Nadi FA had, in addition to the seven goals, six red cards.

Just let that marinate for a second.

Six.

Red cards.

In one game.

Champions League Quarterfinals Goals - April 12, 2016

It has been a week and we miss Champions League very much. Thankfully, the second leg of the quarterfinals kicked off today with Real Madrid hosting Wolfsburg and PSG traveling to Manchester. With Real Madrid down, 2 - 0 to Wolfsburg, it was time for Cristiano Ronaldo. The superstar scored two goals in two minutes and completed his hat trick in the 77th minute to give Real Madrid the 3 - 2 lead on aggregate. Ronaldo scored in the 15th and 17th minutes in a stunning turn of events. Just like that, Madrid was tied with Wolfsburg and had all the momentum.

Kagawa Receives A Backheel Then Gets Cheeky

You know when you're ballin' with your mates and you execute the perfect pass, or a sweet dummy but they mess it up? That isn't what happened here and we thank our lucky stars for that. Moritz Leitner fed Shinji Kagawa a beautiful backheel and he Japanese international lofted a beautiful 18-yard chip past the Schalke goalkeeper. It was swaggy and it was smooth. Dortmund have a big Europa League match coming up this week in Anfield and are 7 points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. It's going to be a tight finish for Thomas Tuchel's bunch.

High School Keeper Flattens Opponent With Headfirst Tackle (Video)

There are tackles, and then there are TACKLES. This one from Pine Forest (N.C.) High School goalkeeper Cassie Sturtz falls into the latter bucket.

Watching this video, it's hard not to assume that Sturtz momentarily blacked out and awoke as office linebacker Terry Tate:

He Could Have Hit It Anywhere, But He Cleared The Ball Into His Own Net

Today we bring you to the Oceania Champions League in order to see some of the most marvelous incompetence you will ever see. The following own goal isn’t just bad, it’s world-class bad. As in you could line up 99% of the players on the planet in this same situation, and they wouldn’t be able to score an own goal.

One Keeper Tried A Move, The Other Didn’t. Guess Which One Got Scored On.

Goal keepers really aren’t supposed to pull off moves. In fact, they are so not supposed to pull off moves, that when they do they take everyone by surprise and usually work.

Case in point: Simon Mignolet during Liverpool vs Borussia Dortmund. Notice how Liverpool’s Mignolet is being closed down hard by Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

The Movie Trailer For New Pele Movie Looks Awesome

We've all seen ESPN 30 for 30's. If you haven't, then it's time for you to reevaluate your life and go watch The Two Escobars. But until you do that, you now know the directors of The Two Escobars are coming out with a movie surrounding arguably the greatest footballer to ever live; Pele. The life story of the Brazilian legend is a great one, surrounded by the inspiring rags to riches fairy tale. Growing up in poverty filled neighborhood in Sao Paulo, Brasil, Pele worked in a tea shop as a child and played football with anything other than a real ball.
