Norwich City could not add a "third miracle" to their story as a 4-0 thrashing by West Ham United at Carrow Road on Saturday condemned the Norfolk club to relegation from the Premier League, manager Daniel Farke said.

Michail Antonio's four-goal salvo sent Norwich into the Championship and they are the first team to be relegated from the Premier League five times.

The Canaries have 21 points from 35 games, 13 adrift of 17th-placed Watford with three games left.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been ruled out of the rest of the Premier League champions' campaign after the midfielder sustained a knee injury in their midweek win at Brighton & Hove Albion, manager Jürgen Klopp said on Friday.

Former England international Welbeck scored his first league goal for Watford since joining at the start of the season in the 56th minute and it proved the winner as they moved four points clear of the relegation places with four games remaining.
