Could El Tri Have Another Famous Brother Duo?

Soccer runs deep in Hirving “Chucky” Lozano’s family.

The 23-year-old PSV player has been running riot in the Dutch League since the 2017 season. He has developed the same kind of hype that Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez did when he first joined Manchester United and El Tri fans absolutely love him.

Injury cut short his opportunity to be a part of the team that won the 2019 Gold Cup this summer, but he his back to training with PSV, recently posting on his Instagram “Come on PSV.”

El Tri star Hector Moreno has made a switch from Real Sociedad to Al-Gharafa in Qatar. The Mexican defender has called an end to his European adventure at the age of 31.

Moreno is arguably one of Mexico’s most consistent players over the years and has been an ever-present figure with El Tri.

Recently proving his ability at the top by playing in Mexico’s successful 2019 Gold Cup run, he almost missed it due to injury but he ended up being able to play and helped lead the team to top the United States in the final.

Luis “Chapo” Montes: A Story Of Redemption

Luis “Chapo” Montes has had a wild ride with the Mexico national team. If you’re a fan of Club León or Liga MX, you’ll know who the diminutive 5-5 midfielder is.

Montes has been a staple of Mexico’s top professional league since he made his debut in 2006 with Indios. He’s gone on to play for only three teams in his whole career and all in Mexico (he later made his breakthrough with Pachuca before transferring to León).

Héctor Herrera Included In MLS All-Star Skills Challenge After Atlético Transfer

For Mexican midfielder Héctor Herrera, finalizing a transfer this summer was at the forefront of his mind. That announcement was finally reported during the Gold Cup, and it was a big reason why Herrera ignored Tata Martino’s call-up and didn’t make the trip to the United States for the tournament.

Updated FIFA Disciplinary Code Could Force Mexico To Forfeit World Cup Qualifiers

Let’s hope it actually works.
