Spain Allows Children Under 14 Outside And It’s All Fútbol

While Americans are still cooped up inside wondering when they'll be able to leave their homes and enjoy some fresh air, other countries are easing back into normalcy.

This past weekend, Spain allowed children under the age of 14 to go outside and play for the first time in six weeks — with some restrictions of course. Children must be wearing masks and obeying social distancing rules, as well as being accompanied by one parent for one hour of play.

Messi’s Top 100 Goals — The Highlight Reel That Just Keeps On Giving

Goal #100: An acrobatic side volley that’s made to look effortless. Goal #99: A velvety first touch loaded with purpose, a graceful cut beyond a defender and a curled finish inside the far post.

And now there are 98 superior goals?! As Ray Hudson once said, “The insane becomes the routine with this man.”

Let’s end the week with some good great news: Introducing, the two newest members of the USWNT: twin Hope Solo babies.

Bale has been in Madrid on lockdown since early March. Along with the donation, he also teamed up with the NHS and thanked them for all of their work in a video posted earlier in April.

6-Year-Old Boy Designs Badass Kit For Italian Club

The football community continues to prove that I was utterly useless at a young age and that children are capable of amazing feats. First, young children were mailing letters to big clubs and getting responses.

Drive-In Theaters For Soccer? The Pick-Me-Up We All Need

Over the last few days I’ve become obsessed with the idea of bringing the drive-in theater experience to soccer. The move was initially proposed by Danish club FC Midtjylland, which would like to setup big screens outside MCH Arena to allow 2,000 cars (a maximum of 10,000 fans) to come and enjoy a live screening of the match from the safety of their own vehicles.

This is a magical idea.

5-Year-Old Makes $20 Offer To Buy Favorite Player, Club Responds

Young Leeds United fan Daniel Huton was not completely disappointed after sending a letter to Brighton asking to keep his new favorite player. Five-year-old Huton’s favorite is Benjamin White, who's currently on loan at Leeds and will go back to Brighton at the end of the season.

Huton raided his piggy bank, pulled out pen and paper and made his offer for the defender.

Atlético’s Saúl Launches Campaign In Solidarity With Freelancers And Small Businesses

The novel coronavirus has crippled the global economy and devastated lives and families but Atlético Madrid and Spain midfielder Saúl Ñíguez believes there is a way out if people show solidarity with each other.

With football on hold during the health crisis, Saúl, 25, has launched Saldremos Juntos (“We'll get through this together”), a campaign to boost Spain's freelancers and small businesses whose livelihoods have been bludgeoned by the pause in activity.
