You Won't Believe The UCL Record Cristiano Ronaldo Just Broke

Cristiano Ronaldo is now the player with most UCL victories in the history of the UEFA Champions League.

After Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich 1-2 in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals, Ronaldo surpassed Íker Casillas, a former Real Madrid teammate, who previously held the record with a total 98 wins in the tournament.

Interestingly, both players have played the majority of their UCL games for Real Madrid.

This Manchester City Team Is Set To Strip Chelsea Of A Crazy Number Of Records

Manchester City are champions again after Manchester United folded like a wet blanket against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday. City has been in position for several weeks to bring home the title – earlier than almost any club in Premier League history, with five games remaining. The Record For The Most Goals In A Single Game Will Never, Ever Be Broken

Goals are the ecstasy of football, so much so that it's hard to make a case defending 0-0 matches, even when they sometimes prove to be quite entertaining.

There's just something missing in the beautiful game when the ball does not kiss the back of the net. An abundance of goals is always welcome by fans and the press.

Of course, goals are nice, except when your favorite team concedes them.

3 Reds, 4 Yellows, 15 Starts: The Maddest Lad Of Them All

The story of Bruno Zuculini’s young career is one of fire, fury and loan moves. A product of Buenos Aires club Racing, Zuculini made his first team debut with the club, one of the “big five” clubs of Argentine football, at the tender age of 16. After establishing himself as one of the Primera Division’s top talents, Manchester City signed him at the age of 21 for $3.2 million in 2014.

The 10 Most Expensive Transfer Fees In MLS History

For most sports in the United States, transfer fees are a foreign idea. Athletes in basketball and American football move as free agents or in trades, but rarely are they outright sold for a lump sum. While Major League Soccer maintains some of these cultural ideals, transfer fees are still commonplace. The most expensive MLS transfer fees highlight some of the league’s most ambitious clubs.

Man City Breaks Club Record Transfer Fee For La Liga’s Most Promising Defender

Dismayed over Virgil van Dijk’s decision to join Liverpool, Manchester City have gone and broken their own club transfer record (the $77 million paid to Wolfsburg for Kevin De Bruyne in 2015) by signing La Liga’s most promising young defender, 23-year-old center back Aymeric Laporte, from Athletic Bilbao for $80 million.
