TikTok May Be The Future For Soccer Content In 2020

If you are not technologically savvy or you’re not in the know and think TikTok is just the sound a clock makes, then you are in for a cringy-yet-entertaining explanation.

TikTok has taken over.

TikTok is a video platform where trendy dances, pranks, fails and lip-syncing songs trend throughout the platform with thousands of views. Not only is TikTok the home to a bunch of young teens, but several professional football clubs have joined the trend and trust me you do not want to miss out on this.

Fox Forgets It Still Has Soccer Rights, Ignores Liverpool’s Win In Club World Cup Final

Liverpool won its first Club World Cup title with a 1-0 extra-time win over Brazil’s Flamengo on Saturday. It was Liverpool’s first intercontinental title but few in the U.S. were afforded an opportunity to watch it live.

Because Fox still shows a hatred for soccer, as we’ve lamented for more than two years, the American broadcaster chose to show three different college basketball games instead of the Club World Cup on Saturday.

MLS Teams Unveil 2020 Schedules In Wildly Different Ways

MLS teams released their 2020 schedules on Dec. 19, prompting a tidal wave of American soccer fans to come out of their caves.

The Los Angeles Galaxy were among those to naturally take to Twitter for the unveiling of their 2020 campaign. The Galaxy, however, took a different approach than your average hype video or link to tickets.

Horrific Flying Tackle Targets Man’s Crotch

It has happened plenty of times before: a player thinks he or she can get to a ball and ends up making a terrible tackle.

This definitely is not the case.

In the Ukrainian lower division, it looks like one player makes a genuine effort to kill the guy on the ball with a tackle that ends up coming close to his armpit.

Manuel Neuer Is Inventing A New Position

During Bayern Munich’s 3-1 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer recorded 66 touches, which was more than any Spurs player on the day (Kyle Walker-Peters was tops with 59). With 48 accurate passes, he also outperformed all Tottenham players in that category. Oh, and his pass success rate of 89 percent (48 of 54) was also better than Spurs' best (Moussa Sissoko hit on 85 percent).

Monaco’s Tiémoué Bakayoko Forgets Number During Match And Tries To Sub Himself Off

Look, we've all been there. We've accidentally walked into the wrong work cubicle after moving a few weeks prior, went to the wrong classroom after the start of a new semester or called our significant other by our ex's name (hopefully this one doesn't happen too often).

We become so used to doing something that we just do it on autopilot. That's what happened to the ever-confusing player that is Tiémoué Bakayoko on Saturday.

Once dubbed the future holding midfielder partner of N'Golo Kante at Chelsea, the French international is now on loan with Monaco for the season.

New Barcelona Documentary Captures Extraordinary Dressing Room Scene After Liverpool Collapse

Last Thursday, the “Matchday — Inside FC Barcelona” documentary premiered in Barcelona with a variety of representatives, players and celebrities present. The series promised a “no-holds-barred view of the club” filmed throughout the 2018-19 season, which offered the high of a league title and the lows of a Copa del Rey final defeat and that cataclysmic 4-0 defeat to Liverpool in the semifinals of the Champions League.

Edinson Cavani’s Dad Vandalizes His Property To Remind Him Of UCL Failure

Imagine you’re in Edinson Cavani’s shoes this morning, strolling around the streets outside the Bernabéu in search of that precious, caffeine-rich mate before tonight’s big Champions League encounter with Real Madrid.

You’re not in the best spirits. You’ve missed a good portion of the season through injury, and in your absence, that goddamn Mauro Icardi has scored 10 goals in 11 games to take your job. Now everyone wants to offer Icardi a permanent contract and is totally fine with yours expiring in the summer!
