You may remember that we previously wrote about CD Deportivo Leganes and their rather bizarre scratch-and-sniff kit. Now, you're probably thinking that it couldn't get any weirder than that. We have something to show you. 

See, for whatever reason, Spanish lower-league clubs seem to be in some sort of intense competition over who can make the most eye-punishing travesty of a kit. We've made fun of plenty of kits over the years, from all across the world. But the Spanish, well, they're just on another level. 

If you're a goalkeeper, getting scored on is not ideal. Thus, it follows that getting scored on by your own player is even worse. So in theory, the only thing that could be worse than an own goal would be if you physically threw the ball into the net yourself (this is really complex stuff, guys). But that's ridiculous. Nobody does that. Right? Right?!

NFL franchise the Minnesota Vikings had a little bit of fun with Chelsea FC this week, as they challenged the club to a so-called "football vs. football" challenge. The challenge comes as Chelsea prepare to face A.C. Milan at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on August 3. It will be the first event to take place at the new facility.  

AS Roma’s preseason has gotten off to a flyer after they comprehensively defeated Italian semi-pro side AC Pinzolo 16-0. Edin Dzeko, Mohamed Salah, Diego Perotti and Juan Iturbe were among those who got in on the scoring action.

If you didn’t score in this match, AS Roma have most likely put you up for sale in the transfer window. Seriously though, it’s not often that you see a 16-0 scoreline pop up on your Twitter feed. Sixteen!

Leicester City kick-off their 2016-17 Premier League season on Saturday, August 13th against Hull City. The Foxes are 30/1 long shots to win the Premier League, but they’re tipped at 25/1 to be relegated from the division. To prepare, some poor sap has foot the bill to have them flown abroad to train in Austria. What a giant waste of time.

Leicester City, for those not in the know of English football, are a teeny-tiny club in the East Midlands (i.e. the middle) of England. They miraculously staved off relegation last year, and those plucky, midway bastards are back at it again!
