Raúl Jiménez Has Wolves Dreaming Of The Champions League After Massive Match-Winner

Raúl Jiménez scored his 13th Premier League goal of the season on Sunday (equalling his total from last campaign with 10 games remaining), and it was an all-important match-winner as Wolves defeated Tottenham in North London. With the victory, Wolves moved above Spurs and into sixth-place. The club’s now level on points with fifth-place Manchester United and only three behind Chelsea in fourth.

Sam Kerr Turns Arsenal Defender Inside Out To Set Up Dramatic Cup Winner

Sam Kerr hasn’t had quite the barnstorming start to life in England as many expected. Since coming to Chelsea on a big-money move from Chicago, where she scored 18 goals in 2019, she had scored just one goal in league play.

But even when she’s not scoring, Kerr is one of the best in the world, as she showed in a 2-1 win in the FA Women’s League Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday.

Liverpool's Perfect Season Dream Crushed By 19th-Place Watford

It had been 422 days since last Liverpool had lost a Premier League match. The Reds were thought to be infallible. Saturday’s Liverpool-Watford match proved otherwise.

Not only did Watford defeat Liverpool, it beat the hell out of the Reds at Vicarage Road. A spectator with no prior knowledge of the teams would have thought it was Watford on an 18-game winning streak and Liverpool winless in its last five.

The Hornets opened up the flood gates in the second half on the league leaders, courtesy of abysmal Liverpool defending on a throw-in.

Bayern-Hoffenheim Players Juggle Out Final 15 Minutes Of Match After Fan Protest

BERLIN — Bundesliga leader Bayern Munich fired in three goals in the opening 15 minutes en route to a 6-0 demolition of hosts Hoffenheim on Saturday in a game interrupted for 20 minutes over an offensive banner unfurled by visiting fans.

Bayern moved four points clear at the top of the table but the match was at risk of being cut short when the Munich club's fans displayed the banner insulting Hoffenheim investor Dietmar Hopp in the 79th minute.

Lazio Beats Bologna 2-0 To Take First Place In Serie A

Lazio gained three points on Saturday to lead Serie A ahead of Juventus. What a brilliant first 20 minutes. Lazio came up 2-0 early taking advantage of an early build-up for the first goal and a fortunate deflection for the second.

Stuttgart Thriving Under New Jersey Native Matarazzo

American Pellegrino Matarazzo has enjoyed an excellent start to his career as a head coach, taking 13 points from a possible 15 while taking VfB Stuttgart up to second place in the table.

Matarazzo, appointed in December to take over for Tim Walter, got off to a winning start with the Swabians as his side rolled over FC Heidenheim, 3-0. VfB has gone from strength to strength since then, winning three of the next four in the 2. Bundesliga. Matarazzo's only loss at the helm so far came in the narrow 2-1 defeat to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal.

French Keeper Scores Unbelievable Goal From Own Six-Yard Box

It’s Friday, so let’s have a pizza party and head over to Domino’s Ligue 2 for the greatest goal you’ll ever see from a league sponsored by a subpar restaurant.

Less than a minute after keeper Brice Maubleu gave up a goal on a penalty kick, the French keeper scored an implausible goal from his own six-yard box.

Newcastle Wants Its Players To Keep Their Hands To Their Selves During Practice

Training sessions at Newcastle United will be a lot less cordial after manager Steve Bruce said on Friday that players and staff had been advised to avoid handshakes in a bid to prevent spreading coronavirus.

The United Kingdom now has 19 confirmed cases of coronavirus and Bruce said the club was not taking any chances.

"There's a ritual here that everybody shakes hands with everybody as soon as we see each other every morning; we've stopped that on the advice of the doctor," Bruce told a news conference ahead of Saturday's match against Burnley.

Aubameyang Morphs From Pelé To Wondolowski In 10 Minutes As Arsenal Crashes Out Of Europe

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang thought he was the GOAT — 10 minutes later he was the goat.

Arsenal’s No. 14 scored a breathtaking bicycle kick with seven minutes left in extra time to briefly give Arsenal the lead in its Europa League matchup with Olympiakos. But Youssef El Arabi equalized in the 119th minute and Aubameyang missed a sitter right in front of the goal as Arsenal went crashing out of Europe. Olympiakos advanced on away goals with a 2-1 win on Thursday after a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last week.
