Today, we take a look at three kids who broke the rules and had an absolutely amazing time because of it. Apparently these three boys snuck into Barcelona’s training ground (how they did it, we have no idea) and literally got to hang out with the entire Barcelona squad as if they were one of the boys. They will be talking about this for the rest of their lives.
What didn’t they get to do? Everyone was there — Mesis, Suarez, Neymar, Pique, Iniesta, Turan, Rakitic — and not only were they there, they were so friendly. Like, ridiculously friendly. They posed for photos with the kids, signed autographs, allowed them to participate in their warm-up drill, they even picked them up and tossed them around as if they were their younger brothers! WTF, how are Barcelona such homies!!! It literally seems too good to be true!
A part of me wants to think that this all was planned, that these three kids are sons or nephews or cousins of some player, but the presence of the security guards in orange jackets makes be believe that it’s all legit. Look how they are just standing there as all of this goes on. As if their thinking, “alright, this seems chill, but eventually i do have to do my job and get these kids out of here.”
I guess the kids could still be related to the team in some way, but regardless, they just had the kind of interaction with Barcelona that kids around the world dream about. Imagine jumping the fence to meet your favorite team, and all of the sudden you are running up to Messi, who’s just standing there somewhat shyly but is totally chill with interacting with you (classic Messi, right?). I’m 25 and I feel like a little kind just thinking about it.
Note to self, when in Europe, become 12 again and jump over fences at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou.
