Last week, Mexico National Team and Benfica striker Raul Jimenez kept Benfica in the Premeira Liga title race with a superb goal in the 73rd minute to beat Rio Ave.
This week, Jimenez sent Benfica into the final of the Taca la Liga (Portuguese League Cup) with a 71st minute.

After a slow start to the season, Jimenez has blossomed into a match-winner for Benfica. Here's a stat that sums Jimenez's form up handily:
Since April 9th, Raul Jimenez has scored the game-winning goal for Benfica three times. Vital.

Good lord. Jimenez has 11 goals this season, with a disproportionate number coming in big moments.
He also did this three days ago, which would have been just about the damnedest thing we'd ever seen.

Bottom line: Jimenez is giving Juan Carlos Osorio a lot to think about right now. Hopefully he and Chicharito have chemistry.
