Miguel Layun has been in wonderful form for both club and country this season, wonderful form he continued this weekend. Layun scored a goal and recorded an assist in Porto's 2-0 win over Setubal, continuing his momentum from last week when he scored in the Champions League.

Layun was loaned to Porto from Watford in the English Premier League earlier this year, an arrangement that Porto is reportedly trying to make permanent. His Mexico teammates Jesus "Tecatito" Corona and Hector Herrera also play for Porto and have been playing well.
With Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying beginning this international break for Mexico, the sight of Miguel Layun tearing up the Portuguese Liga must be a welcome one for new El Tri boss Juan Carlos Osorio.
This international break Mexico plays El Salvador on Nov. 13 and Honduras Nov. 17. Porto currently sit second in the Portuguese Liga table, five points behind Sporting CP (but with a game in hand). They also top Group G in the Champions League with 10 points, three more than second-place Chelsea.
