Andres Guardado and Hector Moreno are teammates for both club and country, for PSV and Mexico. As such, they appear to have developed more chemistry than your average center mid-center back pairing.
This weekend against Utrecht, they got a chance to showcase that chemistry. Off a corner, Guardado found Moreno square in the middle of the box. Moreno then one-timed the ball into the goal, a superb finish for any center back.

That chemistry will be especially helpful for Mexico in the coming international break, as most national team teammates don't play for the same clubs and therefore don't have as many opportunities to train together and familiarize themselves with each other. Guardado and Moreno have a leg up, especially for a country like Mexico where the national team draws about equally from Liga MX and Europe.
Guardado and Moreno are pretty well established in the El Tri hierarchy at their positions, and Juan Carlos Osorio should be happy that two of his mainstays get work in together at their club.
Mexico play El Salvador and Honduras this international break in Mexico's first round of World Cup qualifiers (Canada is also in El Tri's qualifying group).
As one of the best, if not the best, teams in CONCACAF, Mexico is expected to advance from the group. With Andres Guardado and Hector Moreno firing on all cylinders and working together, that shouldn't be too difficult.
