We’re just a couple months away from the worldwide release of FIFA 18, and the demo of the game will be available for download well before that. After a month of relative quiet from EA Sports, the company behind the wildly successful soccer simulation is starting to build the hype by releasing actual gameplay videos of the highly anticipated release.
The two latest videos give us a brief overview of changes made to the game’s crossing and dribbling mechanics. Crossing has been a somewhat notorious method for scoring goals in past FIFAs (2014), and watching Romelu Lukaku boss defenders in FIFA 18 has got some e-athletes fearing the worst.
Also, the implementation of a “dangerous cross” is probably a defender’s worst nightmare — by definition, there’s simply no answer for that.

As is always the case, the response to the videos has been decidedly mixed. People fear change, but they also fear shelling out $60 for the exact same product.
