PSG welcomed mid-table Lorient to the Parc des Princes on Sunday and slumped to a 3-1 defeat after Achraf Hakimi was sent off in the 20th-minute for a studs-up tackle on Darlin Yongwa that earned him a second yellow.
Five minutes before Hakimi's dismissal, Lorient had stunned the home side through Enzo Le Fée. Down to 10 men, PSG did manage to find an absurd equalizer in the 29th-minute. For whatever reason, Lorient goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo thought the referee had blown his whistle after Kylian Mbappé went down in the box, but the ref had waved away Mbappé's complaints so the ball was still in play.
Mvogo placed the ball down and Mbappé quickly pounced. The French superstar then spammed the celebration button.

That's PSG's sixth league defeat of the campaign. They still hold an eight-point advantage over second-place Marseille, but their rivals could cut the gap to five points with five matches to play by beating Auxerre later Sunday.
Messi played the full 90 and now there's a viral video of him "slapping" a Lorient player but it's a lie of the camera angle. He's actually yelling at Marco Verratti and motioning something to him.
