Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is having a very good year. For a time, he was the highest scoring player in Europe, and his form since losing that title has not exactly been bad. As of today, he has 37 goals in 45 total competitions, per Transfermarkt. Amidst all the good publicity his form has earned him, Aubameyang has teamed up with Dutch freestyler Soufiane Touzani in order to film one bad ass cross bar challenge video.
As you can see, Touzani and Aubameyang each had to hit the crossbar or post three times, with the caveat that they had to pull off some sort of trick before they shot the ball. Obviously, as a professional freestyler Touzani’s tricks were much more intricate than Aubameyang's, and perhaps that was to Touzani’s disadvantage. The Dutch freestyler failed to hit the target once.
It all was in good fun, however, as the pre and post challenge snippets clearly indicate. Not that we thought it would be any different. There isn’t a serious competition in the world that kicks off with a selfie video.
