Americans in Serie A or linked to a team
- Tim Weah to Juventus (confirmed)
- Christian Pulisic to AC Milan (rumored)
- Yunus Musah to AC Milan (rumored)
- Weston McKennie to Roma (rumored)
Serie A has seen a growing number of Americans join the league over the past few years. Gianluca Busio, Sergiño Dest, Tanner Tessmann and Bryan Reynolds have all been on Serie A sides in the past two seasons.
USMNT defender Dest was on loan at AC Milan last season, however it was an unsuccessful year and he’ll find a new club to call home. Busio and Tessmann were relegated to Serie B with Venezia in 2022. Roma loaned Reynolds to Belgian side Westerlo last season.
USMNT players are still looking to find success in the league and perhaps this latest influx of players will do so.
Weston McKennie
McKennie will be an interesting player to keep an eye on this transfer window. He will return to Juventus after an unsuccessful loan spell with Leeds United that saw the club get relegated.
It’s unlikely that McKennie will stay with Juventus meaning he could be due for another loan or a permanent transfer. One club he’s been linked to is Roma.
Roma are interested in signing Weston McKennie from Juventus this summer, as Jose Mourinho seeks a 'dynamic midfielder' in this transfer window.

Christian Pulisic
It appears that Pulisic’s time at Chelsea is done. The club is cleaning house this summer with eight players already finding new clubs to call home. Pulisic is keen on a move to AC Milan, and it’s been reported that he’s already agreed to personal terms with the Italian giants.
All that’s left now is for Chelsea and Milan to find the right price for him.

Chelsea insist on €25m asking price as Milan want to pay less than this. Talks will continue.Milan keep working on Yunus Musah as reported earlier.

Yunus Musah
American fans are thrilled at the idea of Musah and Pulisic becoming teammates in Milan.
Musah is one of Milan’s main targets this transfer window and Valencia are willing to let him go for the right price.

Similar to Pulisic, Musah has agreed to personal terms with Milan and now it’s up to the clubs to agree on the transfer fee.
CBS has the broadcast rights for Serie A. If these transfers go through then make sure that Paramount+ subscription is ready so you can see the boys playing in Italy.
