Bayern Munich defeated RB Leipzig 3-0 in the final of the DFB-Pokal on Saturday to secure a domestic double for the first time since 2015-16 (Pep Guardiola’s last season at the club). The goals included a brilliant brace from Robert Lewandowski and a sensational solo effort from Kingsley Coman, but Manuel Neuer also provided two stunning saves while making his first appearance since suffering a calf injury on Apr. 14.
In the 11th minute of the match, Leipzig looked certain to score off a corner thanks to a towering Yussuf Poulsen header from a few yards out. The save from Neuer, upon second viewing, is absolutely preposterous. The German international somehow managed to deflect the effort up against the crossbar with a preternatural right arm.

In the 29th minute, Bayern took the lead thanks to Lewandowski’s acrobatic header.

That would set the stage for Bayern’s two-goal cushion, and that bit of breathing room was gorgeously worked by Coman.
Leipzig was then undone on the counter for Bayern’s third in the 85th minute. It’s more good work from Lewandowski.
This was Bayern’s 19th success in Germany’s cup competition. For a bit of perspective, the next most successful club is Werder Bremen. They’ve won the DFB-Pokal six times.
