Bastian Schweinsteiger Briefly Played In A Soccer Game For Manchester United

After spending the first part of the season in exile, Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger returned to the pitch Wednesday.

We've been over why Bastian Schweinsteiger needs to be playing for Manchester United, so we're not going to do that again.

(sorry, can't help ourselves: it's because Marouane Fellaini is garbage)

Schweinsteiger's exile from the Manchester United first team finally ended Wednesday when he made a four-minute (plus stoppage time) cameo in United's 4-1 win against West Ham in the EFL Cup quarterfinals.

WHAT A MOMENT.

Hopefully Schweinsteiger can work his way into regular time for Man U, who need all the help they can get given they keep dropping points to bad teams.

Obligatory reminder that Marouane Fellaini is trash and shouldn't play with Paul Pogba:

Yes. His replacement. Because Paul Pogba shouldn't be playing with Marouane Fellaini. Because Marouane Fellaini is bad. And Paul Pogba is good. Paul Pogba should be playing with Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Sorry, I'm not even a Manchester United fan. I just can't bear to see two great midfielders (Pogba and Schweinsteiger) (not Fellaini) treated this way.

There's hope, though. Bastian's back!
