David Moyes Blames Ball Boy While Apologizing For Kicking Ball At Him

West Ham United manager David Moyes apologized after he was sent off for kicking a ball at a ball boy during his side's Europa League semifinal defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.

With 12 minutes remaining, Moyes angrily kicked the ball at a ball boy who he thought was wasting time as 10-man West Ham lost 1-0 in the second leg in Germany and went out 3-1 on aggregate.

West Ham United said they have identified two individuals who allegedly attacked two German radio commentators during Thursday's 2-1 home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their Europa League semifinal.

LONDON - Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko and Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals scored a goal each as West Ham defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at home on Sunday, ending Steven Gerrard's side's run of three consecutive wins in the Premier League.

Yarmolenko had been granted compassionate leave after Russia's invasion of Ukraine last month and then fell ill, missing West Ham's 1-0 Europa League loss in Seville on Thursday.
