Wenger in!
Following his meeting with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke, it has been widely reported that Arsene Wenger has agreed to a two-year extension to his stay at the Emirates. And on the same day Thomas Tuchel leaves Borussia Dortmund! No club knows how to Arsenal quite like Arsenal.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the 2017 FA Cup Final after Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a truly awful goal, and Aaron Ramsey secured the victory after Diego Costa had equalized for 10-man Chelsea. Victor Moses was sent off in the 68th minute for a sad, not even remotely believable dive.
Before Arsenal vs. Middlesbrough, Arsene Wenger announced a formation change, which proved to be effective. Wenger chose to use a 3-4-3 formation, letting Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain roam to an offensive position while playing right wing-back to try to create going forward.
In previous matches, Arsenal players have been jogging back into their final third while defending, but this was far from the case in this match. Arsenal finally showed signs of life, holding the ball the majority of the game.

Arsenal lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace today, putting a real squeeze on their top four chances. After years and years of consistent success, it feels weird for the Gunners to be on the outside looking in.
