Ralph Breaks The Internet: Southampton Coach Is Treating His Players Like Children

Southampton coach Ralph Hasenhüttl isn’t a particularly old man. At 51, he had just turned 20 when the original NES was released in Europe.

But he’s acting like a curmudgeonly old man — and clearly has no idea how to deal with young people.

In a recent news conference, Hasenhüttl told reporters he blocks the Wi-Fi at the team hotel on the nights before matches.

What. A. Jerk.

Solskjaer Appointed Man United Manager, So Celebrate With This Hobbit-Inspired Video

After compiling a record of 14 wins, two draws and only three defeats with the caretaker label, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has now been confirmed as Manchester United’s permanent manager on a three-year deal.

Solskjær has overseen a dramatic reversal of form in United’s Premier League campaign. After just seven wins in 17 games under José Mourinho and with a top four finish looking impossible, Solskjær has recorded 10 wins in 13 EPL games to bring the Red Devils up to fifth, only two points back from Arsenal with eight matches remaining.

The Disgruntled XI: A Starting Lineup Of Players Looking For Transfers

It’s a bit strange, but for the likes of Real Madrid, PSG, Atlético and Napoli, there’s not much to play for with two months remaining in the season. Maybe a Coupe de France here and a triggering of an Arsenal crisis there, but it’s really silly season time for the aforementioned giants of the European game.

Arsenal Not Finding Any Luck In Hunt For Director Of Recruitment

Arsenal has been looking for a head of recruitment for quite some time now. After the departure of Sven Mislintat in February, the Gunners need someone with enough experience to bring in the right players for Unai Emery. After a somewhat underwhelming winter transfer window, the North London outfit needs some reinforcements, specifically defensively.

Chelsea Phenom Callum Hudson-Odoi Receives England Call-Up For Euro Qualifiers

Chelsea’s youngest star, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has officially received the call to join England’s national team. The 18-year-old will be the youngest player on England’s squad for a pair of Euro 2020 qualifiers, joining the stacked attack of Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling.

Hudson-Odoi has quickly become a fan favorite in London, and supporters are hoping he’ll be a big part of a potential Chelsea transformation next year.

In-Depth GQ Interview Shows That Marcus Rashford Is Cooler Than All Of Us Combined

Chances are, you’re somewhat familiar with the Marcus Rashford story. It’s well known that he’s a local lad, having joined the Manchester United academy system at the age of seven.

His astronomical rise at the club is also well documented. He made his first team debut for United at the age of 18 while the side was stalling under the leadership of Louis van Gaal. However, in the space of a few days, a star was born.

Leicester City’s James Maddison Honors Little Girl After Goal, Defends Referee Who Carded Him For It

I’ll be honest, from what I’ve seen of James Maddison on the pitch, he seems to play like a punk. That’s not necessarily a bad thing (I used to play the same way), just an observation of the talented 22-year-old Leicester City No. 10.

But just because you play hard doesn't mean you're a jerk. Off the pitch, Maddison has shown admirable devotion to a young cancer patient named Sophie Taylor.

Maddison befriended 5-year-old Sophie while she was battling bone cancer, a battle she sadly lost earlier this year.

Chicharito Saves West Ham With Two Remarkable Late Goals

Javier Hernandez may be over the hill in footballing terms at 30 years of age, but the little pea still has big goals in him.

While half of the Premier League is off this weekend for FA Cup action (hidden away behind an ESPN+ subscription here in the U.S.), there were a few matches to watch on Saturday, and they were all fucking bonkers.

Newcastle United earned a point at Bournemouth when Matt Ritchie smashed a volley into the back of the net in the 94th minute for a 2-2 draw.

Report: Manchester City To Be Handed Two-Window Transfer Ban

A few weeks ago, Chelsea was hit with a transfer ban for illegally dealing with underage players in its academy system and third party ownership. Now, a Manchester City transfer ban could be instituted for two windows (one year), according to reports.
