Footy Headlines has released a mockup of what the 2024 USMNT kit might look like and good God it’s worse than what we have now. Nike must get some sort of enjoyment off torturing U.S. Soccer fans.
The color scheme is rumored to be white on white and the guess is that the new kits will pay tribute to the 1924 Paris Olympics men’s soccer team that got the USMNT their first international win.

Released on Saturday, the 60-second commercial features an unnamed defender being haunted by Smith ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
The ad is a nod to the 2022 film “Smile” which I had to look up when writing this article and boy was that a little too spooky for me.
Thankfully Nike’s ad is a little more family friendly but will still be fear-inducing for defenders going up against Smith in Australia and New Zealand.

The sales people said we'd learn to love the USMNT kits eventually, but it's been five months and I still don't like them. As for the latest USWNT efforts, I do believe these will look better and better as the team moves toward the World Cup final in Sydney.
