After two years at Nippert Stadium, FC Cincinnati will open its own soccer-specific venue this season. West End Stadium is a sparkling $250 million arena that looks just as good on the outside as it does on the inside.

West End Stadium will officially open for FC Cinci’s home opener on May 16. Until then, the club released a video of the stadium’s façade lighting, a stunning display of LEDs on each fin on the arena’s exterior.

In a remake of Gatorade’s iconic 1997 commercial that pitted Michael Jordan against Mia Hamm, USWNT legend Abby Wambach challenges eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt in the new Gatorade Zero campaign “I Can Do Better”. 

The two stars face off in a number of sports and physical activities, and there’s also a brief cameo from both Jordan and Hamm at the end. 

For those of a certain vintage, this will be a wonderful trip down memory lane; for those whose fandom began in the 21st century, this should be an excellent introduction to the genius of one of Italy’s most celebrated footballers — on May 26, Baggio: The Divine Ponytail arrives on Netflix.

This biographical film from director Letizia Lamartire is billed as “a chronicle of the 22-year career of soccer star Roberto Baggio, including his difficult debut as a player and his deep rifts with some of his coaches.”
