FYI, though, do not expect goals or new tactical theories coming from our fields. We are here to show moments that make Liga MX that imperfect tournament you adore.

An open letter to Chelsea fans: Are you guys OK?

Dearest Chelsea fandom,

I hope this letter finds you well, however I seriously doubt it. I trust that you witnessed yet another pathetic performance from your club on Tuesday as the once mighty Blues lost their sixth game in-a-row.

There's a man with a chainsaw in the stadium and we're not in Portland

Things got a little out of hand during a recent CAF Champions League quarterfinal between Espérance and JS Kabylie in Tunisia. The match experienced a 40-minute delay to the second half after fans clashed with security forces around the stadium, and firefighters were required to put out several small fires in the stands.

Also, a storage room was looted and some of the equipment was later seen being used in the riots, including a chainsaw. According to Reuters, the chainsaw-wielding man has since been arrested.

Leeds players apologize after video of squad ignoring a child goes viral

Leeds United players apologized to their fans on Monday after their 4-1 loss at Bournemouth and after a video of the squad ignoring a young fan at the hotel went viral.

The defeat left Leeds a point above the relegation zone as the club stretched their winless run to five matches.

"The performance was not good enough. There is no other way to look at it and the only way to respond is on the pitch," the players said in a statement. "Leeds fans travel up and down the country in huge numbers and deserve more than this."

Jürgen Klopp pulls his hamstring celebrating winner in front of the fourth official

In a match best described as barely-believable, Liverpool took a 3-0 lead over Spurs inside 15 minutes on Sunday before Tottenham stunned Anfield with three of their own, culminating in Richarlison's equalizer at 90+3'.

But Diogo Jota earned all three points for Liverpool at 90+4', and in the ensuing bedlam manager Jürgen Klopp twanged his hamstring while pointedly celebrating the goal in the fourth official's face.

Warning: If you've pulled your hamstring before, this clip will conjure painful memories. You can almost feel this video.

Mbappé scores hilarious goal and then PSG implode for another embarrassing ‘L’

PSG welcomed mid-table Lorient to the Parc des Princes on Sunday and slumped to a 3-1 defeat after Achraf Hakimi was sent off in the 20th-minute for a studs-up tackle on Darlin Yongwa that earned him a second yellow.

Gareth Bale sends response to Wrexham offer and it's not the one you were hoping for

If you are on the Wrexham bandwagon, you surely know that owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have proposed that Welsh legend Gareth Bale come out from retirement and join their Hollywood tale in a series of funny golf jokes on Twitter – I mean, as funny as golf can be.

Goalie scores last-gasp goal with his face, gets sent off after ref calls handball

We all have a reason to hate VAR: its stupid nano-sized offside lines, seeing penalties nobody else sees, the time it takes from the game to review plays — you name it. However, there are times when you wish the technology was around.

Or at least you entertain the idea after seeing how unfair life was with Spanish goalkeeper Manu García last weekend.
