League Tribunal Decides Racism Acceptable In Serie A

Once again Serie A has shown the world it doesn’t give any fucks about racism in its league.

Shortly before Inter Milan began its 2019-20 Champions League campaign against Slavia Prague on Tuesday, Serie A ruled clubs were free to racially abuse one of the Nerazzurri’s star players.

Seattle Sounders Fans Stage Walkout To Protest MLS's Ban On 'Political' Signs

The Seattle Sounders picked up a massive three points in a very competitive Western Conference playoff race with a 4-2 win over the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, but TV viewers and fans at CenturyLink Field in Seattle might've noticed a much quieter second half.

French Football President Says Homophobia Not As Bad As Racism, Tells Refs To Stop Halting Matches For Anti-Gay Chants, Banners

Ahead of the 2019-20 season, French football instituted new laws calling for referees to stop matches if anti-gay messages come from the stands, a response to increased homophobia in Ligue 1 and 2. High-profile matches such as Nice-Marseille and PSG-Metz have already been halted for this reason.

In his ignorance, French Football Federation president Noël Le Graët has shown why the rule is so necessary.

Record-Setting Attendance Of Over 31,000 Watches First-Ever WSL Manchester Derby

With men’s club soccer on hiatus due to the international break, the women’s game took center stage in England this weekend with the opening of the new Women’s Super League season. The marquee matchup was a first-ever WSL Manchester derby between City and United at the Etihad Stadium.

The previous attendance record for a WSL match was set by Arsenal last year with a crowd of 5,265; the crowd on hand yesterday in Manchester smashed that with a total of 31,213 spectators.

And they left happy thanks to an incredible strike from Scotland international Caroline Weir.

Is MLS Going Too Far In Its Quest For Apolitical Stadiums?

Major League Soccer updated its Fan Code of Conduct on March 1 for the 2019 season, in which it banned the display of political banners and signs at matches. Instead of thwarting political messages, MLS has become a flashpoint for the increasing political polarization of a diverse United States of America.

No one is benefiting.

Neighbors Indonesia And Malaysia Really, Really Don’t Like Each Other

The long, grueling road of Asian qualifying for the 2022 World Cup began back in June with the first round and continued today with the start of the second round of proceedings. A massive fixture went down this morning in Central Jakarta, pitting fierce rivals Indonesia against neighbors Malaysia.

Galatasaray Fans Go Absolutely Nuts for Falcao

Turkish side Galatasaray made some big moves in the transfer market this summer, signing a total of 12 players. The biggest name on its new signing list is Radamel Falcao.

The 33-year-old Colombian striker, while having some low points in his career, has been one of the top strikers in the world over the past decade. And now he is playing for one of the best teams in Turkey.

I would be pretty excited if Falcao signed for my team. But these Galatasaray fans have gone above and beyond. Just watch how they welcome "The Tiger" to their stadium.

Two fans were rushed to the hospital, including a 13-year-old girl, after a São Paulo fan plummeted from the upper deck during São Paulo’s 0-0 draw with Grêmio on Saturday at the Morumbi stadium.

Videos show Iago de Melo Rios, 23, falling from the Morumbi’s top ring onto fans near field-level below. He was reportedly conscious as he was taken to the Campo Limpo hospital.

PSG Match Halted For Homophobic Banner, Second Such Delay This Week

For the second time in three days, a Ligue 1 match was halted over homophobic messages from the stands. A PSG-Metz banner forced the stoppage of play in the first half of the match, 48 hours after the Nice-Marseille match was delayed.

Ligue 1 has new rules against homophobia in stadiums for the 2019-20 season, and those rules have been violated twice this week.

Rival Reviews: An Everton Fan Gets Naked For A Liverpool Jersey

Everton fans hate Liverpool. They’re too flashy, they think they have a monopoly on bad singing and they just win too damn much.

The Merseyside Derby, unlike many of the world’s great soccer rivalries, is different because of the proximity of the two clubs — Anfield and Goodison Park are a literal stone’s throw from each other. This intimacy engenders deep resentment between the two clubs — Everton fans jealous of Liverpool’s money and success and Liverpool fans jealous of actually attracting fans from Liverpool instead of abroad.
