On paper, Watford traveled to southeast Wales on Tuesday as overwhelming favorite over Newport County in their third-round League Cup tie. Watford was a Premier League club last season, while Newport County was a middling League Two side. Marching On Together: How England's Most Divisive Club Went From A Champions League Semi To League One And Back

Leeds United was 90 minutes away from the 2001 Champions League Final.

Because He’s An Absolute Badass, Christian Pulisic Nearly Scored With A Pulled Hammy

Christian Pulisic had a great start to the FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday, scoring in the fifth minute. He nearly had an epic ending, albeit a painful one. Sadly, it all ended prematurely.

The 21-year-old American put Chelsea into the lead in the opening minutes at Wembley. He started the move and then finished it with a composed chip past Emiliano Martinez.

The tournament was suspended at the quarterfinal stage due to the COVID-19 outbreak in March and will now resume three weeks into the 2020-21 women's domestic season.

Chelsea Pounces On David De Gea Errors To Book FA Cup Final Place

Chelsea beat Manchester United 3-1 on Sunday to book their place in an all-London FA Cup final, helped by two errors from United goalkeeper David de Gea and an own goal by Harry Maguire.

Chelsea, who will face city rivals Arsenal in the Aug. 1 showpiece, had lost to United three times this season but looked brighter from the start at Wembley and took control with goals either side of halftime from Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount.
