Foden Fires His Twitter Handler After @ing Mbappé

Manchester City's Phil Foden has parted ways with a social media company handling his accounts after they posted a controversial tweet calling out Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe when both teams qualified for the Champions League semi-finals.

Foden sealed victory with a late goal in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund as City progressed to the semifinals where they will meet PSG, who knocked out holders Bayern Munich on away goals a day earlier.

On The Chopping Block: Seven Premier League Starters Who Could Be Benched Next Season

Something we often forget about professional footballers is that unlike most of us, they actually have pretty lousy job security. A manager will bench a player who is playing poorly without any second thought because the success of the team is more important than any individual player.

Of course, the starting lineup is always fluid, but players have to fight every week to make the starting XI, even when it seems like their position is secured. And eventually, every player will be replaced; it is only a question of when.

Arsenal Hands Slavia Prague Some Poetic Justice With 4-0 Beatdown

PRAGUE - Arsenal cruised past Slavia Prague 4-0 to book a Europa League semifinal spot on Thursday after they struck three quick-fire goals in seven first-half minutes to advance 5-1 on aggregate.

Alexandre Lacazette scored twice, including a penalty, while Nicolas Pepe and Bukayo Saka also found the net in the quarterfinal second leg to set up a last-four clash with Villarreal.

English Phenoms Dictate The Second Leg Between Man City And Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund’s Edin Terzić and Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola promised not to sit on any advantage in Wednesday’s Champions League quarterfinal second leg at Signal Iduna Park, but both were alternately guilty of doing just that in a tumultuous match that was ultimately decided by two second-half goals from the Premier League champion-elect.

But 40 minutes following Jude Bellingham’s marvelous opener for the home side, Borussia Dortmund genuinely believed.

Not Even Shattered Bus Windows Could Rattle Real Madrid In Professional Performance Against Liverpool

Real Madrid entered the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals with a two-goal advantage. Los Blancos played as if they had an even larger cushion, looking comfortable and professional — even boring at times — in a 0-0 draw to complete a 3-1 aggregate victory over Liverpool on Wednesday at Anfield.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Son: ‘I Always Get Food’

OSLO — The son of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has weighed in on his father's spat with Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho after the Norwegian coach said he wouldn't feed his son if he simulated an injury.

The row erupted following Sunday's 3-1 win in the Premier League for United when Solskjaer senior criticised Spurs attacker Son Heung-min for exaggerating a blow to the face.

West Brom's Revival Is A Memo To The EPL — And Pompous Writers — That It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over

Raise your hand if you predicted that West Bromwich Albion would defeat Chelsea 5-2 at Stamford Bridge and then a week later overpower Southampton 3-0. Anybody? I would have been surprised just to hear that West Brom scored multiple goals in a match.

After recording just three wins and scoring only 20 goals in its first 29 EPL matches, West Brom has found the back of the net eight times over its last two matches, picking up two victories — each by three goals — in the process.

Real Madrid, who have topped the list five times in the past, edged Barcelona 2-1 in El Clásico on Saturday but find themselves second best off the pitch with a valuation of $4.75 billion.

How Soon Can Manchester City Win The Premier League Title?

With Manchester City reaffirming its Premier League dominance after a "down year" (if 81 points and a +67 GD can be considered a down year), it appears that Pep Guardiola is on his way to a fourth EPL crown. The big question is: How soon can Man City win the league?
