Fans showed their support for the 53-year-old German by unfurling a 'Jürgen Klopp YNWA (You'll Never Walk Alone)' banner outside Anfield.

But there was one player who had yet to attempt a penalty kick, and social media demanded he be allowed to take it.

Twitter wanted Ederson to score a penalty, but Pep Guardiola left them sorely disappointed when Rodri calmly converted to send City on its way to a 3-0 demolition of Jose Mourinho’s Spurs. But Ederson still found a way to contribute offensively.

Liverpool were forced into another defensive reshuffle due to Fabinho being injured, with January loan signing Ozan Kabak handed his debut. The 20-year-old's slip let Jamie Vardy in in the first half, only for the Leicester striker to hit the crossbar.

Caroline Weir’s Humiliating Chip Dashes Man Utd’s Title Hopes

It looked like the Red Devils could actually challenge the established elites — Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal — for the league crown.

Those hopes were dashed on Friday as Man City humbled United 3-0 in a one-sided Manchester Derby, capped off by a stunning chip shot from Caroline Weir.
