While football is on hiatus amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, clubs around the world are looking back on memorable moments, reliving old glories while the pursuit of new ones is on hold. 

Life has grown a bit dull these days. Now that we’re done binging Tiger King and everything else on Netflix, we’re left with a weird void in our lives.

Two of the fastest players to ever play in the English Premier League were Eden Hazard and Theo Walcott. Former MK Dons player Sean O’Hanlon and his two sons are having plenty of fun remastering some of football’s most iconic goals during the shutdown. O’Hanlon tweeted out a video of his boys recreating the best goals of the century.

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has proposed a grand idea for the return of football. The current FC Porto shot-stopper tweeted on Monday the thought of bringing all the former Real Madrid and Barcelona stars together for a massive El Clásico charity match.

In football’s absence we’re left to discuss purely quantitative things: the 25-point gap between Liverpool and Manchester City, the number of days between now and a hypothetical restart of the season, the amount of money that everyone’s losing during the shutdown, etc.
