This was more the type of weekend we've come to expect from La Liga. Barcelona destroyed Real Betis 5-0 behind two goals apiece from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Real Madrid similarly rolled over Deportivo la Coruna, 7-1, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale each rediscovering their goalscoring form with two apiece.
There's not much left in terms of a title race in Spain, so all we can do is sit back and appreciate the considerable talents of some of the best players ever. It's pretty fun.
Still, we would prefer a title race next time.
