Liverpool left back Alberto Moreno and attacker Roberto Firmino both showed up for the new season having changed their haircuts to be in line with a curious trend: the top knot.
The top knot, for the uninitiated, is a knot of hair on the top of one's head that makes the wearer look like they have a paint brush sticking out of their head.
Moreno and Firmino have both chosen to wear this hairstyle, and we have had about enough of it. Both players have never been known to be conservative with their hairstyles, but this is simply too much. The top knos is simply too stupid of a haircut for either of these players to be seen in public with.
As cool as you like from @Roberto_Firmino... pic.twitter.com/8zMcf6PIhZ

It was fine at first, a novelty. We didn't think much of it because we assumed both Moreno and Firmino would quickly come to their senses and change their hair back to something that makes them look like a person. But they did not do that, instead foolishly keeping with this dumb haircut against all reason.
Now, these players should not be vilified for having stupid haircuts. No, they should be educated and supported as they go through what is clearly a tough time. They should not be condemned, rather gently reminded that copying the haircut of a troll doll is not the best life decision one could make.
Jurgen Klopp needs to send these dudes to haircut class, taught by Loris Karius, immediately.
