Google is always ahead of the game when it comes to connecting people. We’d all be lying if we said we have never messed around on Google maps and street view looking at amazing landmarks around the world. And then come their 360 degree tours, which have been used for sporting events, showing off businesses and even taking interactive tours of things like the Taj Mahal using the Air Pano project.
Now using Google, Paris Saint-Germain came up with “PARISTORIES,” an interface giving users the chance to experience a PSG matches in Parc de Princes through the eyes of 46,580 fans.
Fair warning for anyone trying to be productive: you can spend a good amount of time messing around inside the world this tour creates. You can choose to experience the match on the pitch, in the stands or behind the scenes. The match spotlighted is their 2-0 victory over Marseille this past Sunday. For those always wishing to experience a big time soccer match, but who can't make it over the pond, this is a free alternative that will help quench your thirst - and leave you feeling like you were in Paris for the match.
The program works best if you’re using Google Chrome, as some people had issues using Firefox or Safari.
