We are not a particular fan of the Twitter beef, but we simply couldn't resist this one. It involves promotion/relegation stan and angry Twitter person Ted Westervelt, sports media personality Scott Van Pelt and the official Twitter account of national sit-down chain restaurant Applebee's.
It started when Westervelt was mad online about promotion/relegation and threw an unprovoked shot at Applebee's, who responded in kind.
@soccerreform @MLS @TheChampions Woah. We run our place pretty seriously, Ted. That is a Red card for sure. ~ARD

This was in February, and Applebee's hasn't left Ted alone, dragging him at every opportunity. Earlier this week, though, Scott Van Pelt, notorious for rarely being mad online, stepped into the fray.
1) Scott Van Pelt hates Ted. 2) @Applebees still hates Ted. pic.twitter.com/WIkR2RWjmb

Applebee's gleefully joined the fun, as did many other Twitter users who find it very amusing how mad online Ted gets.

To reiterate: most Twitter beefs are bad, so it's nice to see a fun one once in a while.
Based on this result, we can expect Ted Westervelt to be relegated to Arby's.
