Your mind plays tricks on you. You might think that Lionel Messi is the best at everything in the world, that he has the best ball control, the best passing, the best finishing instinct, and the best shooting range. We can’t really fault you too much because most of the time you’d be right; Messi is incredibly good at a lot of things. But a young man named Cristiano Ronaldo has a little something to say about who’s the best at a certain little thing called shooting.
The best way to describe Ronaldo’s talent comes from a phrase we learned from watching the game of basketball: he’s in range when he steps off the bus. The man can simply score from anywhere on the field. Deep left, Deep right, with a man to beat in front; none of it matters.
This is the one thing that Messi has no answer for. He does have the best finishing instinct in the world, but he cannot match Ronaldo when it comes to shooting in general. We challenge you to find or make a video that can put this one to shame, not just featuring Messi, but any single player in the world.
