Premier League To Return With Quadruple-Headers Every Saturday And Sunday

Early Thursday morning, it was confirmed that the Premier League would resume play on Wednesday, June 17. We now have more information regarding the Premier League TV schedule USA for June, and we’re in for a madcap finish to the 2019-20 season: quadruple-headers every Saturday and Sunday with additional matches being played on Friday, Monday and during the midweek.

With 92 games still to play (the vast majority of clubs have played 29 with nine still to go) and a reported desire to finish the campaign by August 1, your mornings and afternoons throughout June and July are now settled — every single match is being given its own broadcast window.

The action recommences on Wednesday, June 17, with two games between the four sides that maintain a game in hand on the rest of the division. Manchester City hosts Arsenal at the Etihad while Aston Villa welcomes Sheffield United to Villa Park.

There will then be a full slate of games for the weekend of June 19-21.

While there won’t be any fans in attendance, the latest reports say that the majority of games will be played at home stadiums as normal rather than at a neutral venue. There is, however, the possibility that high-profile games could be played at neutral stadiums to avoid fans congregating outside of grounds.

We also now know what the match schedule will look like for the Premier League’s run-in. Here are the time slots that games will be given stateside.
