Must Watch: MLS Makes Sweet Spoof Of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

Mike Magee might not be nearly as smooth as Ferris Bueller, but the MLS’s Most Valuable Player (and Bradley Cooper doppleganger) and several other MLS and NWSL players did a great job recreating a trailer to the late 80s hit. If you watch the trailers back-to-back, they are extremely similar (down to the wardrobe), with Magee playing Ferris Bueller, Omar Gonzalez playing Cameron Frye and Sydney Leroux playing Sloane Peterson. With other cameos by Bruce Arena, Thierry Henry, Michael Bradley and Hope Solo, the MLS promo video is just trying to let you know “life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and catch a game once and a while, you might miss it.” Be sure to check out your local club now!
