Meet The Hilarious Relatives Of Arsenal Players

In the new video from Arsenal, we learn Jack Wilshere's uncle "could have been one of the best left-handed midfield players in the country if it wasn't for his poetry."

We don’t have any biases here at The18, but Arsenal could force us to reconsider. The London-based club constantly releases hilarious videos with the help from their sponsors and players, which always leave us in stitches.  

This time, Europcar and Arsenal players Jack Wilshere, Per Mertesacker and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain came together to create "Face to Face with Arsenal’s Family." The spot takes viewers though a mockumentary style video that introduces the players fictional relatives and their quest to the Emirates Stadium on every match day. The relatives include Trudy Mertesacker, Per’s world-champion baker sister; Kenny Wilshere, Jack’s school phenom-turned-plumber uncle; and Darren Oxlade-Chamerlain, Alex’s plane-spotting cousin who goes by the nickname “The Shrub.”

Darren Oxlade-Chamberlain is played by Ewen Macintosh from the English version of The Office. Just like the other Arsenal videos of late, this one doesn't disappoint. And in case you missed them, below are some of the other funny videos the club has done as well.
