Kylian Mbappé Scores Incredible Match Winner, Gets Sent Off Soon After

Admittedly, we’re getting tired of all these Kylian Mbappé goals. But this Mbappe goal vs Nimes was something special.

After scoring three goals in his first two appearances with Paris Saint-Germain this season, it wasn’t really a surprise to see the 19-year-old Frenchman score again on Saturday. What was surprising was the immense quality with which the goal was taken.

And his red card soon after.

First, though, the Mbappe goal vs Nimes, which was the match winner in a 4-2 win for PSG. The play started with an interception from fellow Frenchman Presnel Kimpembe, who lofted a brilliant pass into the path of Mbappé.

After a great touch to bring the ball down, Mbappé smashed a difficult volley past Nimes goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni.

The goal put PSG up 3-2 and Edinson Cavani later added a fourth for a bit of insurance.

Unfortunately, Mbappé wasn’t done making an impact on the game.

In the 94th minute, Mbappé lost his mind, shoving Téji Savanier, who had just taken him out with a bad foul.

The referee didn’t hesitate to show the teenager red. Savanier, for his part, was also sent off.

The red means Mbappé won’t be able to add to his total of four goals in three matches for a few weeks, though PSG probably won’t miss him much. Neymar and Cavani both found the back of the net on Saturday, the second straight week all three star forwards scored.

Mbappé’s absence might mean more playing time for 18-year-old American Timothy Weah, who scored his first Ligue 1 goal in August

All this action from Mbappé may not have been the most entertaining aspect of the match.

Neymar scored the opener in the 36th minute and immediately ran over to a sign calling him a crybaby to celebrate.

PSG now has four wins from four and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. The Parisian’s Champions League group, though, will be fun to watch.
