Kaka, one of the best attacking footballers ever, the last player not named Messi or Ronaldo to win the Balon d'Or, has announced his retirement from professional soccer.

Kaka's career highlights include winning the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, the 2006-2007 Champions League with AC Milan, the 2007 Ballon d'Or and many other honors.

Kaka, 35, ended his career with Orlando City in MLS. He was a three-time MLS all-star during his time in the states.
