Joshua Kimmich's Frustration At Bayern Is A Dream Come True For Pep Guardiola

22-year-old Joshua Kimmich is becoming frustrated by his lack of playing time at Bayern Munich under head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

After getting plenty of opportunities under Pep Guardiola, who is now the head coach of Manchester City, Kimmich has been limited to 10 Bundesliga starts this season.

After playing a key part in last year's title-winning season, the young German player feels as if he has earned his place as one of the cornerstone players for Bayern. Since Ancelotti's arrival in late July, Kimmich has been used frequently as a substitute and has played only 954 minutes, compared to 1,423 last season.

Rumors are that Kimmich is looking to possibly go and rejoin his former coach at Manchester City.

Following Bayern's 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, Kimmich was sure to make his displeasure known: "It does not matter whether I understand it or not. The fact is I'm not satisfied with it and I want to change it. The coach knows I can play as a number six and at right back, also in the center of defense. From that he has many options to use me."

With Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabatela, Gael Clichy and Aleksander Kolarov all nearing the end of their careers, Manchester City's defense is in need of serious reinforcement. Kimmich could be an instrumental piece for Guardiola.

However, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said the club has big plans for Kimmich, and that he expects Kimmich to be Phillip Lahm's replacement.

Bayern Munich are once again at the top of the Bundlesliga table, so he should get more playing time now, and staying patient is really his only option at the moment.
