What a week it's been for Jordan Henderson. The 25-year-old midfielder was officially named Steven Gerrard's replacement as Liverpool captain Friday.
That same day, it was also announced that Henderson had won a fan vote to join Lionel Messi on the cover of the U.K. version of FIFA 16.
This decision drew the ire of various internet trolls, who apparently believe that Jordan Henderson is the worst footballer to ever walk the earth, even worse than teammate Rickie Lambert. But, internet persons, as we all know, are prone to overreaction, and besides, you don't see Lebron James shouting any of them out on Facebook, do you?
We have a message for these internet persons: If you don't like it, vote next time.
