Didier Drogba, John Terry, Andrea Pirlo Considering MLS moves

Three of the biggest names in football have been linked with moves to MLS.

Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba and John Tery have each either expressed interest in MLS or have had offers from MLS confirmed.

ESPN reported Chelsea legend Drogba, who was carried off the pitch by his teammates during his final appearance for the Blues, is weighing offers from MLS clubs, but will take his time in making a decision. The Telegraph reported Drogba is seeking a move to New York City FC.

Chelsea skipper Terry recently told TalkSPORT, "I would love to finish my career at Chelsea and maybe there is a time when I look to go to play in America or whatever might be best for my family at the time."

Pirlo, who still has one year left on his contract, is reported to have an offer from an MLS team.

“Juventus will be my last Serie A team, whatever happens. MLS could be an idea, but for the moment I don’t have anything; Juve are the only thing on my mind,” Pirlo said.

The MLS season does not run in continuity with the FIFA calendar, so any moves would have the players landing at their new clubs in the middle of the MLS season.
