Daniel Sturridge set social media alight Tuesday when he released a video showing the aftermath of a theft of his LA home. In the video Sturridge, who is visibly upset, shares that not only had some valuable bags been stolen and his window broken, but his dog Lucci had also been taken. (Warning: video contains inappropriate language.)
Sturridge makes it clear in the video itself as well as the video's description that “he will pay any price to have his dog back.”
Sturridge went on to post several pictures of Lucci so people can identify and report any sightings of the Pomeranian.

... And fury at the perpetrator.
Some people are just disgusting! Breaking into someone’s home and stealing their belongings is awful, but taking someone’s dog - mans best friend - is the lowest of the low. I hope these people a caught & locked up. Hope you get your dog back bro @DanielSturridge x

Sturridge, who has had the dog for a year and a half, clearly had a close relationship with Lucci, as the puppy is plastered all over Sturridge’s social media account, with the Liverpool striker even going so far as to create his own Instagram account the dog himself (@Luccidapoochie).
