What, you were expecting someone else?
Cristiano Ronaldo has won FIFA's 2016 Men's Player of the Year Award, as expected, beating out finalists Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.
Congratulations, @Cristiano Ronaldo!

Ronaldo's year included a Champions League win with Real Madrid and a Euro 2016 win with Portugal. His Real Madrid side are five points ahead of Barcelona in La Liga with a game in hand. He scored 55 goals and registered 17 assists in 57 total games in 2016.
He surely deserves this award, which is good because, since the split with the Ballon d'Or (which, again, he also won), very few people care about it. Cristiano, though, is just vain enough to care.
This is Ronaldo's fourth Player of the Year win, just one short of Messi's five.
