Chicharito Scored His First Competitive Goal Of The Season

It took 39 minutes of competitive soccer for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to get his first goal of the season. Hernandez scored to but Leverkusen up 1-0 against SC Hauenstein in the DFB Pokal Sunday. The game finished 2-1 to Leverkusen.

This was Leverkusen's first competitive goal of the season, and it's fitting Hernandez was the man to score it. The Mexico international scored 26 goals in a stellar season for Leverkusen last year.

Can he repeat the magic this season? So far, so good.
