In what is perhaps the only piece of silverware likely to end up at The Emirates this season, Arsenal's Olivier Giroud has been voted the Premier League's "Hottest Player" by a poll of 250 women across America. Accepting his award, the visibly emotional and evidently proud Frenchman thanked his parents, his fake tanner, his botox technician and his waxer:
Congratulations Olivier, you earned it.
And commiserations to both Marouane Chamakh and Rio Ferdinand, who were considered the "ugliest" by those women identifying themselves as over-60 and bisexual respectively. We're sure they're gently sobbing themselves to sleep as we speak.
