Generally, in journalism, when you find a story the proper thing to do is to dig deeper and acquire as much information as possible about causes, effects, etc. before releasing it to the public. We are going to break journalistic tradition here, though, because we do not even want to know what horrible thing happened to Javier Martos that necessitated him receiving this treatment during a game.

Good God, this is the literal embodiment of the phrase "adding insult to injury." We are not even going to speculate on what happened to poor Javier because he's been through enough, really. We'd offer him a hug but we don't really want to go near him at the moment.
The combination of obvious pain, an embarassing position and the fact that it happened in public and was captured on video means that Javier is not likely to forget about this moment any time soon. At least not if the internet has anything to say about it.
