Christian Pulisic has been sidelined for over a month with a hamstring injury that he suffered during the FA Cup final. Chelsea and USMNT fans alike have been eager for the return of the Blues’ new No. 10. The latest Pulisic injury update is a good one and it comes from Captain America himself.

Pulisic prefaced his answer of when he was returning to play by saying he prefers not to talk too much about soccer when streaming. That being said he was kind enough to let viewers know he is feeling “very good and very ready to play.”
This aligns with Frank Lampard’s injury update prior to Chelsea’s Carabao Cup loss to Tottenham on Tuesday.
“Mendy and Chilwell are in the squad for tomorrow,” Lampard said. “They’re fit and we will see whether they start or not. Ziyech and Pulisic are not far away. They are still in their recovery stage so it’s too early for them both.”
There is an opportunity that Pulisic sees his first minutes of the 2020-21 season against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Oct. 3. The world seems to be working against USMNT fans who want to see their country’s star back in action. Not only is the game horrifyingly early in the morning — kick off is at 7:30 a.m. ET — but it will only be available on Peacock.
Brutal.
If you need some cheering up after receiving that information, you’ll be happy to know that Pulisic went on to win his game of Fortnite from the above clip. He is actually quite talented at the game and sauced some unsuspecting individuals for a six-kill win.
His twitch stream is nuttyfigo10 for those wanting to watch more Pulisic Fortnite action. He explained the origin of his username during the stream.
“My dad used to call me Figo growing up a lot,” Pulisic said. “He was my favorite player.”
As for the “nutty” part of the name, the Chelsea forward explained he had used that name for his gamertag growing up.
