Atletico Madrid CEO Gil Marin has confirmed they’ve known Griezmann is bound for Barcelona since March.
Griezmann landing spots were rumored for just about everywhere in Europe.
The 28-year-old is coming off a World Cup title but is yet to win a LaLiga or Champions League title.

The announcement comes days after LaLiga rival Real Madrid made the dynamite signing of Chelsea sensation Eden Hazard.
Real has reloaded this offseason and the team looks set to return to LaLiga title contention.
El Clasico was already set to be lit again, but with the addition of the Frenchman, the matchups are looking insane.
No price tag is set for Griezmann but Barcelona will certainly pay a hefty ransom for the forward.
The possibility of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Griezmann should prompt an even higher transfer fee for the Atletico forward.
