¡Tenemos Lista! Estos Son Los Convocados De México Para Los Juegos Olímpicos De Tokio

El Tricolor Olímpico está confirmado. La lista de 22 jugadores que viajará a Tokio 2020 ha sido finalmente anunciada este lunes por el Comité Olímpico Mexicano y no presenta mayores sorpresas de lo que se rumoraba. 

En ese sentido, más que un anuncio de convocatoria, fue una ratificación de la lista preliminar. La organización del evento, por Covid-19 o posibles lesiones, permitió hacer listas de 22 jugadores en vez de 18, facilitando el trabajo del técnico Jaime Lozano, así como del resto de selecciones que participarán en el torneo, que comienza a finales de este mes.

Los tres refuerzos “mayores de edad” de México, que busca repetir el oro olímpico de Londres 2012, finalmente serán el arquero Guillermo Ochoa, el mediocampista Luis Romo y el delantero Henry Martín.

Lo bueno: Diego Lainez, presente

Siendo el único jugador de la lista que juega en el exterior, Diego Lainez es uno de los mejores jugadores de este Tri Olímpico, sin dudas. Lainez ya se ha hecho un hueco en la selección absoluta mexicana con tres goles en 14 partidos, siendo dos de ellos en la actual ventana internacional. No se sabía si Lainez se uniría al equipo olímpico o si se quedaría con la selección absoluta para la Copa Oro. Al final, Jaime Lozano pudo asegurar al atacante zurdo en el viaje a Japón.

Lo malo: José Juan Macías, ausente

Una noticia que hizo lamentar a más de uno es la sensible baja de José Juan Macías, quien se perderá el torneo debido a una lesión muscular. En sus redes sociales, el nuevo delantero del Getafe confirmó su ausencia para los Juegos Olímpicos por su desafortunada lesión.
